Motorbikes
Motorbikes
are generally suited to carrying small packages and
parcels, particularly documents where time is of the
essence. This may not necessarily be the case however;
on very long journeys, where a bike will need to stop to
refuel. A small van or car will probably maintain a
higher overall speed leading to a quicker journey time.
Small
Vans
Small
Vans are typically Ford Escort or Vauxhall Astra type
vehicles. These vans are suitable for carrying all types
of parcels, packages and documents and can carry up to
approximately 400 Kilos in weight or 1 & 1/2 pallets
worth of goods.

Large & XL
Vans
Large
and extra large vans are typically Ford Transits,
Mercedes Sprinters or Vauxhall Movanos. These vehicles
are suitable for carrying larger items that cannot be
taken in a smaller vehicle either due to the weight or
size of the goods. A large van will carry approximately
1000 kilos and an extra large van approximately 1500
kilos in weight.

7.5 tonne Box Vans
Large
box vans with up to 3000kg capacity. These vans are
suitable for carrying all types of parcels, packages and
pallets and with a tail lift with a load of 1000kg can
reduce loading/unloading times dramatically. Huge space
of 5.9mtr length by 2.3mtr width typically can carry up
to 8 std pallets. |
