Our team is the back bone of our business, Rapid Despatch prides itself on it’s incredibly low staff turnover and the consistency that this brings. The company is wholly owned by the people who run it on a day-to-day basis so in the unlikely event that that there is a service issue our directors are always available for our clients to talk to and make sure we get things back on track again.
Jitty has been with us since 2005 and manages our Reading operation ensuring that Rapid Despatch delivers great levels of service to its clients. She is particularly proud of our client list and delivers the First Class Service that they have come to expect. Before Jitty joined us she gained valuable experience with one of the UK’s largest newsprint logistics companies.
Richard was one of the 2 founding partners at Rapid Despatch Logistics when the company was formed in 2001. He has a proven business background in sales and marketing, his structured approach, including a firm belief in regular communication with our clients, allows us to constantly adapt and improve our service ensuring their requirements are met and fulfilled to the highest standards.
Mike was a joint founding partner of Rapid Despatch he is a very experienced manager with particular strengths in operations. Mike’s responsibilities are to oversee and ensure that operational standards and platforms are continually maintained and developed. He is also the company's Finance Director and Company Secretary.
Jamie joined us in 2005 when we opened our premises in Farnborough and has been responsible for the successful development of our operation there. He has over 15 years experience and has worked on some high profile accounts such as the RFU. Jamie’s great customer service skills ensure an excellent rapport with all accounts he is responsible for.
Ian joined us back in 2002 as our first branch manager and has helped the Southampton depot grow significantly over the last 7 years. Ian has played a crucial role in managing some high profile time critical accounts which require out of hours callouts with time specific delivery deadlines 24 hours a day 365 days a year.
Paul has recently joined us as Business Development manager and is responsible for all sales and business development including making presentations to prospects, negotiating contracts and dealing with new client migrations. Paul’s thorough preparation and attention to detail ensures that any new client transitions are trouble free.
